Production Blog: Started Filming!

Hi! I just got home from filming the first portion of the music video. Both of my parents are currently out of town, so Amelie picked me up and drove me to Sammie's house. We met up at 10:00 am. We wanted to meet a little earlier than we first decided in order to have enough time. We chose to just start filming from the start of our storyboard. This was a very useful tool to keep us on track for what we needed to get filmed. Sammie was the actor we chose to portray the main character in our music video. She was also the person who's computer we were going to use to edit our video. It was easier to use her phone to film, so she would already have the videos on her computer later. In our video, we needed a phone, but since I was filming with hers, we used mine as the prop. We texted all the fake couple pictures that we took right before to me. After we finished this scene, we continued onto the other one's at the house. There is a scene where Sammie puts her head in a cereal bowl, which got a little messy. We had to use the broom to clean the floor! The last scene we shot was the one in the car. Isaac wanted a scene where she turns the car radio on, and that makes the song get louder. We liked this idea so we just implemented it into this scene. Originally, we were going to film the whole video in one day, but we decided to just split it up over the weekend. I will tell you how our studio filming goes tomorrow night!
